Submission process

Entries are welcome from every genre from emerging to established filmmakers.

The selection committee is expected to evaluate thousands of submissions, after which films will be chosen to be screened at the festival.

Judging process

The selections are made by our members of the jury. Critics and artists debate and determine the most outstanding achievements of the year.

Films and videos released after January 2018 and those that premiere at the Out of Africa International Film Festival will be given special consideration.
